Aastha Incense Sticks

Small, inhalable particulates are produced when natural and artificial materials are combined to make incense. A 2009 study found that some of this particle pollution was carcinogenic, or potentially carcinogenic. This study also discovered a link between burning incense and an increased chance of developing cancer. Incense stick burning leads to indoor air pollution, which raises blood levels of nitrogen oxide (NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO) in turn. By affecting brain cells, the high concentration of these gases causes neurological issues.
