Antibacterial Drugs

To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, antibiotic drugs are used to kill bacteria that cause illness. There are two main types of antibiotics: broad-spectrum and narrow-spectrum. Broad-spectrum antibiotics kill a wide variety of bacteria, while narrow-spectrum antibiotics target specific types of bacteria.
