Objects used in Hindu worship ceremonies known as puja or pooja are known as pooja articles, also spelt as pooja articles. Prayers, incense, flowers, and other symbolic items are presented to gods or other revered beings during a religious ritual known as puja. The following are some examples of pooja items: incense sticks, incensories, oil lamps, diyas, bells, idols or images of deities, holy water vessels, kalash sacred threads, raksha, prayer beads, and various offerings of food and flowers.
