Hindu worship rituals known as puja or pooja use objects known as pooja articles, also spelt pooja articles. Puja is a religious ceremony in which devotees make offerings to gods or other deities, such as incense, flowers, and other symbolic items. Examples of pooja items include incense sticks, incensories, oil lamps, diyas, bells, idols or images of deities, holy water vessels, kalash sacred threads, raksha, prayer beads, and various food and flower offerings.
