Carbomer Powder is a colloidal suspension of polymer, or polymer particles. It is a white powder that has a slightly thick consistency and a low viscosity. The polymer is a polysaccharide with a molecular weight of 2,000 to 4,000. The polymer is also known as carboxymethyl cellulose or carbomer. It is used in the cosmetic industry as an emulsifier, stabilizer, thickener, gelling agent, or as a suspending agent.
