Castor Oil

Squeezed from castor beans, castor oil is a type of vegetable oil. The fluid known as castor oil has a distinct flavour and smell and ranges in colour from dull to very light yellow. It has a maximum temperature of 313 °C (595 °F), and it is 0.961 g/cm3 thick. There are ricinoleates in it, which make up around 90% of the unsaturated fat chains. Other substantial components are oleate and linoleates.
