Ceramic Brick

The brick is a small, smooth, round stone that has been shaped into a flat and smooth surface, typically with a squared edge. The brick is then heated until the outer surface glows red-hot, and then quickly cooled with water or some other liquid. The liquid causes the brick to shrink slightly, producing the squared edge. The brick can then be used as a simple paving stone.
