This oil is derived from S.aromaticum twigs. To obtain high purity clove oil with a minimum concentration of 85%, crude clove essential oil is distilled. Rectified clove oil is a pale yellow liquid that dissolves very slightly in water and solvents. The oil complements basil, citrus, and spice oils. It is widely used in dental preparations as well as in toothpastes, soaps, toiletries, cosmetics, and perfumes as a fragrance component. Rectified clove oil is available in 180 Kg drums.
