Clove Oil

The twigs of S. aromaticum are the source of this oil. In order to create high purity clove oil with a minimum concentration of 85%, crude clove essential oil is distilled. Pale yellow liquid rectified clove oil is only very weakly soluble in both water and solvents. The oil pairs well with citrus, spice, and basil oils. It is widely used in dental preparations as well as in toothpastes, soaps, toiletries, cosmetics, and perfumes as a fragrance ingredient. 180 kg in a drum of rectified clove oil is available for purchase.
