Concrete Blocks

A block of concrete is a homogeneous mixture of coarse aggregate (gravel, crushed stone, broken brick, or sand), a fine aggregate (such as sand, gravel, crushed stone, or broken brick), water, and cement. When poured, the cement bonds the particles of aggregate together into a mass. Concrete is often used as a construction material because it can be molded into any shape or poured to form a wall. Concrete is strong and relatively easy to work, as it can be done with simple tools.
