Copper Thali

A tray or large container on which puja elements are gathered and decorated is called a puja thali (Sanskrit: , romanized as Pj thl, lit. "prayer plate").[1] The puja thali still plays an auspicious part in Hindu religious celebrations, traditions, and rituals. A puja thali may be constructed of steel, gold, silver, brass, or any other metal; it may have any shape, including a rounded or oval one, as well as little engravings and other ornamentation.
