It is said that these small, delicate leaves are an essential part of aromatherapy. They are traditionally used in steam inhalations and make an excellent addition to a diffuser. The leaves come from a plant called Rosa damascena, which is a wild rose native to the Mediterranean region. The leaves are harvested in early spring and the process takes about one month. They are then hand-pressed and dried before being stored in paper envelopes.
