An instrument used to tell time is a clock. The hour, minute, and second hands on a clocks face are always moving. A clock can be large enough to be placed within a huge tower. A clock can also be tiny enough to be worn on the wrist; in this case, it is referred to as a watch. Numerous clocks are created to be both functional tools and lovely items.
