Desogestrel Tablet

Desogestrel is a hormone used in oral contraceptives. This oral contraceptive is prescribed to women for birth control and to reduce the risk of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). It contains the hormone progesterone, which regulates the menstrual cycle. It is also used in treatment of certain types of endometriosis, when taken in combination with a progestin.
