Dicyclomine Hydrochloride Tablet

Dicyclomine hydrochloride tablet is used to treat the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in adults. It is a drug which is also known as Dicyclomine HCL. It is a centrally acting anti-spasmodic agent that works by blocking the central nervous systems production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is responsible for producing the spasms of the intestine. Dicyclomine hydrochloride is an anticholinergic agent. It is used to treat or prevent spasticity and urinary retention. It is a muscle relaxant and is commonly prescribed for various conditions including multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease, restless legs syndrome, and in many cases, irritable bowel syndrome.
