Gentamicin eye drops is a medication used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis, and eye inflammation. Gentamicin eye drops come in two types, and each type is sold in a different size. The small size is typically used for the eyes of children under three years old, and the larger size is used for adults. The small size drops are available in 0.5 and 1.0 mg/ml, while the larger size is available in 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 mg/ml. Gentamicin eye drops should be instilled into the eye every two hours for the first two days, then four times per day for a total of four days.
