Iron Sucrose Injection

This sugar water is a mix of filtered, deionized water and pure cane sugar. The water is purified with an ion-exchange process that removes all organic and inorganic ions. The resulting water is then filtered and deionized again before being mixed with the sugar. The sugar is then heated to 300 degrees Celsius and cooled to 130 degrees Celsius, creating a syrup that is then poured into the injection. This liquid contains high amounts of sucrose and potassium sorbate, a preservative that helps to prevent the growth of bacteria. It is typically used in the treatment of anemia and to maintain hydration levels in people who are unable to take in fluids by mouth. This syrup is safe for consumption, as it has been sterilized and it is made of a mix of deionized water and pure cane sugar.
