This marble clock is one of the many designs by Italian-born sculptor Marino Marini. The clock is made of a polished marble and has a diameter of 12.7 inches. The face of the clock is made of a single piece of polished marble, which has been carved to resemble a round clock face. The center is a metal sphere with Roman numerals on it, which represents the sun. The number 4 is in the sun and the word "dix" is on the opposite side of the face. The hands of the clock are also made of marble, and they have Roman numerals on them. The number 3 is on the top hand and the number 12 is on the bottom hand.
