Organic Cattle Feed

The American cattle industry has been using antibiotics in animal feed to help speed up the growth of livestock and improve their overall health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently put a stop to the use of antibiotics in livestock feed due to concerns about the rise of drug-resistant bacteria. The good news is that a few companies have already removed antibiotics from their feed. These companies include Hormel, McDonalds, Tyson, and Perdue. It is important to support these companies and other companies that are taking the lead in eliminating antibiotics from animal feed.
