Organic Sulfur Fertilizers

Sulfur is a mineral that can be found in soil, rocks, and volcanic gas. In organic farming, sulfur is often used as a fertilizer to help plants thrive. There are two types of sulfur, which are elemental sulfur and bioavailable sulfur. Elemental sulfur is found in nature and is non-bioavailable. Bioavailable sulfur is a product of the sulfate process.
