Pomegranate Plant

The pomegranate plant is a hardy, evergreen shrub that is perfect for the patio, garden, or indoors. This plant grows in the shape of a cone, with two to four branches that can reach up to six feet in height. The leaves of the plant are a deep green color, and the flowers that bloom in spring are a bright pink color. The flowers will remain in bloom for about a month before turning into small red berries. These berries are used for jams, jellies, syrups, and sauces.
