Potato Chips

A potato chip is a small slice of potato that has been deep fried, roasted, kettle-cooked, or popped till crispy. Potato chips are typically offered as a snack, side dish, or appetiser. The basic chips are boiled and salted; extra versions are made with various flavourings and substances such as herbs, spices, cheeses, and additions. Crisps and chips are savoury snack food produced from maize, tapioca or other grains, as well as root vegetables.
