Refractory Bricks

Refractory bricks are blocks of ceramic material used to protect the metal heat source of a furnace. The material is often fired at temperatures of 1,000-2,000 degrees Celsius to make the bricks as hard as possible. The blocks are usually made of a mixture of clay, sand, and other materials that are fired together in a kiln to create a strong, fireproof material.
