Refractory Bricks

Refractory bricks are special building materials that are used in furnaces and boilers to heat or cool industrial processes. They are made of clay, sand, and a binding material such as cement. The clay component of the brick is rich in alumina, which is a type of aluminium oxide that can withstand very high temperatures. The refractory brick is usually fired at high temperatures in order to fuse the alumina into a continuous solid phase.
