Rubella Vaccine

Rubella is a highly contagious viral disease that is caused by the rubella virus. The rubella virus is spread through coughing and sneezing, and can be spread through saliva. The virus affects the throat and upper respiratory system and may cause severe birth defects if the mother contracts it during pregnancy. In children, rubella can cause a rash, which may last up to two weeks, and is most common in children aged between 6 and 15.
