Rubella Vaccine

These red spots are typically found on the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands. The spots may last for several weeks. The Rubella Virus is a virus that causes a mild rash in children and can cause serious health complications. The vaccine was first introduced in the United States in 1969. The vaccine is given as a single shot and provides lifetime protection against the virus.
