The Shiva Lingam is a sacred Hindu icon, usually made of stone, which is typically worshipped in Hindu temples. The Shiva Lingam is the most important icon in Shaivism and represents the god Shiva. It is believed that the spiritual and creative energy of Shiva is channeled into the lingam.
