The Laxmi Yantra is an auspicious, ancient, ritual object, usually consisting of a square or a rectangle of silver, copper, brass, gold, or other metal, with a central motif of a "Laxmi" (goddess of wealth) figure with three eyes, four arms and a pot of coins in one hand. It is believed that the Laxmi Yantra provides the worshipper with protection from poverty and bad luck. The yantra is worn by devout Hindus on the left side of the chest and is often kept in the house or in the office.
