Sorbitol

A sugar alcohol, or polyol, is a kind of carbohydrate that includes sorbitol. Sorbitol is 60% sweeter than sugar while having about a third fewer calories. Apples and blackberries are only two examples of the many berries and fruits that naturally contain sorbitol.
