Camphor from Borneo or Barus is another name for it. To conduct an aarti, camphor is burned. In every traditional Hindu Pooja or other festive event, Agnirva Puja kapoor holds a special position. It is absolutely white in colour, but when burned, it changes to the colour of fire and burns itself out completely, leaving no trace behind.
