Tobramycin Injection

Tobramycin acts by inhibiting synthesis of protein in bacterial cells. In vitro tests demonstrate that tobramycin is bactericidal. Cross-resistance between aminoglycosides may occur. Although most strains of enterococci demonstrate in vitro resistance, some strains in this group are susceptible.
