Typhoid Vaccine

Typhoid Vaccine is a vaccine to prevent Typhoid fever. Typhoid fever is a disease caused by the bacteria called Salmonella typhi. This bacteria causes symptoms such as headache, fever, muscle aches, and stomach pain. Typhoid fever is transmitted through contact with the feces of an infected person. The bacteria are passed in the feces and contaminated food or water. Typhoid vaccine helps prevent Typhoid fever by stimulating the body to create antibodies that attack the bacteria before it can cause an infection. The vaccine can be given orally or through injection.
