Veterinary Vaccine

A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular disease. Vaccines can be administered by injection, or by drops placed in the nose, the eyes, or the mouth. In veterinary medicine, vaccines are used to prevent or ameliorate infectious diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans. Veterinary vaccines are typically used in the prevention of infectious diseases such as rabies, tetanus, botulism, anthrax, and feline leukemia. In addition, veterinary vaccines can also be used in the treatment of infectious diseases, such as parvovirus and leptospirosis.
