Antacid tablets are typically taken to relieve symptoms of heartburn, upset stomach, and acid reflux. Antacids are typically available in a range of different strengths and formulations, and may be taken either with or without food. Antacids are also available in combination with other ingredients, such as bismuth or calcium, to relieve a range of other symptoms.
