Dexlansoprazole Capsule is a drug used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions such as erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients who have undergone a gastric resection, and acute gastroenteritis. It is a proton pump inhibitor that works by reducing the production of acid in the stomach and helping to protect the stomach lining. It is available in tablets, capsules, oral solution, and injection. Dexlansoprazole Capsule can be taken by mouth or injected into a muscle or vein. Oral solution is available in a concentration of 30mg/5ml, 60mg/5ml, and 120mg/5ml. Injection is available in a concentration of 2mg/0.5ml. Dexlansoprazole Capsule is usually taken three times a day with or without food.
