Rabeprazole Tablets is an over-the-counter medication used to help with the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. It is usually prescribed to people who have had problems with heartburn and chest pain, or who have a hiatal hernia. This medication is also used to prevent heartburn in people who have had a heart attack or who have had surgery to repair a hiatal hernia.
